Monday, October 3rd...

@ JJ's in downtown Chat. We play first. If you read this and you live close(ish)...DON'T BE LAME!

Big congratulations to our drummer Jerry and his wife Beth on the birth of their twin girls, Emma and Madeline! Due to this, this show with Zoroaster will be our last for a while to give Jerry time to adjust to parenthood. By no means does this mean we are done however. We have only just begun...

Next Show is Septeber 10th @ Collective Clothing in St. Elmo

The title pretty much says it all. Also playing is Kicking Spit from Jersey (Rockin' Indie shit from members of ANS and Seasick) Do us both a favor and go listen to them here. Also playing (as well as being cool enough to put this show together) is Allison Crutchfield. I think it's her first solo show and she doesn't have any recordings online to check out. So instead, go here to check out her band P.S. Elliot.

The show is at Collective Clothing (3933 Saint Elmo Avenue) and starts @ 9pm. Bring donations for the out of towners.

Lyrics to song #1: "The Guest"

"The Guest"

I'm the ghost that haunts this home

Waits, hopes you come home alone
Pathetic wreck that haunts these steps
I am the vanishing act

Chorus:
I...watch you while you sleep
I...breathe inside your dreams
I....still feel you next to me
I...go to bed alone (still wake up alone; am better off alone)

I am the spirit of your night
Clear of vision, out of sight
A lonely friend in the dark
I will shadow your dispostion

Chorus:

Bridge:
I need you around
I'm your apparition of desperation
A lonely guest...the unwelcome pest
I shadow your disposition

Chorus:
I am I...
I am dead.
